Saskia Koerner’s project #LightWaves, celebrates the feminine spirit of women surfers around the world, who are passionate about surfing single-fin surfboards. Saskia’s series is shot on a vintage Hasselblad analog camera to truly capture the long-standing relationship that women have with single-fin surfing. This is an Artist Profile I recently shot of Sakia Koerner, while she was in Cape Town. It was an honour to be photographed by Saskia, as a woman single-fin surfer myself, but even more so to film this short video showing her passion for the #LightWaves project.
