The La Muse classic is an all women’s surf competition in Muizenberg, South Africa. It usually falls on International Women’s Day to celebrate the diversity, grace and joy of the women’s surf culture. La Muse needed a highlights clip showcasing the events of the day and the myriad of women involved. I hired underwater specialist George Kirkinis and 2nd camera Herman Gerber to be part of my team. Since then, I have also shot and edited La Muse Classic 2018 and 2019. It is an event not to be missed.
